Grief Project
In 2025 Twisted Lane are developing a new contemporary circus production exploring the theme of grief through the clearing of a loved one’s belongings. This will be a staged indoor performance directed by Aoife Carry. It will involve a solo performer with object manipulation and movement sequences.
Twisted Lane's main inspiration for deviating from large scale work in 2025 is Compagnia Finzi Pasca (Swiss based production company) who have not only created large scale performances for Olympic Games Ceremonies and two Cirque Du Soleil shows, but also create smaller successful touring shows to showcase their unique style and storytelling through circus.
Twisted Lane are seeking partners for residency space, co-production and presentation opportunities from 2025. Premiere planned for summer 2026.

The Adventures of Captain Nimbus and Cloudy
In 2025 Twisted Lane are also developing a new work designed as a portable non verbal outdoors street show suitable for touring within Ireland and internationally.
Meet Captain Nimbus, a bumbling yet optimistic aviator clown, full of charm and imagination. Dressed in steampunk aviator gear, he dreams of flying higher than any human has before but is constantly thwarted by his faulty inven/ons and clumsiness. He is joined by Cloudy, a loyal and energetic sidekick, a daredevil acrobat with a knack for solving problems through aerial tricks. This street theatre show invites audiences to laugh, cheer and experience the wonder of flight- albeit through the lens of playful mishaps and daring acrobatics.
