Welcoming Lizzie Keohane and Zoe-Mae Stevens to Promenade

We’re delighted to welcome two new members to the Promenade team, Lizzie Keohane, our new General Manager, and Zoe-Mae Stevens, who joins us as a Trainee Producer through our partnership with Creative Places Tipperary Town.

Both bring valuable experience, creativity and new perspectives to Promenade, and we’re looking forward to supporting their work and welcoming their contributions to the organisation.

Welcoming Lizzie Keohane as General Manager

Lizzie is Promenade's new General Manager, joining with eight years' experience as an events producer specialising in box office management, audience development, and community engagement across Ireland's arts and culture scene. She's spent her career figuring out how to make cultural spaces and events work - for the artists creating them and the audiences that enjoy them, with a particular focus on access and inclusion.

Lizzie left Belfast in 2025 after several years as Assistant Creative Producer with Kabosh Theatre, a prominent site-specific and political theatre company, and is now based in Cork. As a busy freelancer she's worn a lot of hats, including managing Box Office for Docs Ireland and Belfast Film Festival, alongside a broad range of creative production and venue management with festivals and venues including the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, Belfast Children's Festival, The MAC, and the Northern Ireland Human Rights Festival. 

She holds an MA in Conflict Transformation & Social Justice, with a focus on using arts interventions in public space. Prior to this, she got her feet wet studying Literature and Film while pouring pints in Scotland. Outside the CV, she's someone who genuinely gets excited about a good spreadsheet and a smooth ticketing system.

This role is through Promenade’s Creative Production Supports programme and funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.

Welcoming Zoe-Mae Stevens as Trainee Producer

Zoe-Mae is an emerging Creative Producer and Artist from Tipperary, currently undertaking the Promenade and Creative Places Tipperary Traineeship. She recently co-produced a multidisciplinary arts festival at the Cork Opera House and is passionate about creating inclusive, enjoyable participatory arts experiences that connect people and communities.

Originally trained as a visual artist, Zoe-Mae holds a BA in Sculpture & Combined Media from Limerick School of Art and Design and is currently completing an MA in Arts Management & Creative Producing at UCC. Her creative practice explores creativity, sustainability, and motherhood through painting and the use of upcycled textiles. Her award-winning project, The

Irish Landfill Quilt, a collaborative community project, received the LIT Purchase Prize Award and was exhibited in the Visual Arts Awards in the RDS, 2019.

The part-time traineeship is supported with funding from the Arts Council Creatives Places programme and the Arts Council’s Creative Production Supports Scheme.
