Multidisciplinary Workshop
A 5 day workshop, bringing artists of various backgrounds and disciplines to play together and find intersections and connections between practices.
Following a very successful multidisciplinary workshop in 2022, we are delighted to offer another in November 2024.
This workshop is led by Aoife Carry and involves artists working together through a number of task based exercises to play, discover and explore. There is no set outcome to this workshop, the week follows the curiosity of the participants. The theme of this workshop is SCALE, with a focus on large scale work. Participants do not need to have a practice of large scale work, but there needs to be a genuine curiosity in exploring this area of practice through your discipline.
We will support 10 artists to join us in Connemara for the 5 day workshop. (one artist place will be reserved for a Gaeltacht Artist and will be supported directly through Ealain Na Gaeltact - please contact us directly for details).
What is offered:
Travel to/from Connemara
Accommodation
Artist Fee of €600 for the week
Per Diem Stipend of €100 for the week
Apply to the multidisciplinary workshop
Deadline: 18 October 2024
This workshop is supported by The Arts Council of Ireland and Ealain Na Gaeltact.
