Andrew Ryan

Future Producers Training Opportunity

I’m a multidisciplinary creative with a background in costume, props, interiors, and event design, shaping everything from magical worlds to sci-fi fantasy across film and live productions. I’ve crafted crowns for Disney’s villains and royals, contributed to national festivals Púca, St. Patrick’s, Pride, and Westival, and ventured into deep space with Netflix.

For me, spectacle is a portal - it connects people, ignites imagination, and transforms the everyday into the extraordinary.

Now based in rural Mayo, I’m passionate about bringing communities together through bold, expressive creativity - telling our stories loudly and proudly.

With a blend of artistic vision and behind-the-scenes wizardry, I lead teams, manage budgets, and execute ambitious productions with precision and panache. Producing is about world-building, whether it's castles or cosmos, always creating something that unites people - with heart, humour, and a touch of sparkle (or stardust depending on the day!).

Nell Buckley

Future producers hands on training

Nell Buckley (sí/her) is an emerging producer based in Galway who is passionate about using the arts to bring communities closer together. With a background in music, and a keen interest in Irish and Latin American cultural history and activism, Nell has produced a variety of shows and spectacles that cross culture and entertainment with key societal issues, empowering audiences to come together and make a positive change. Eager to platform more aerial, circus and street spectacles along the west coast of Ireland, Nell has been delving into the Irish circus scene thanks to organisations like Galway Community Circus classes, ISACS and Promenade.

Future Producers is in partnership with Split Second, Fidget Feet, Macnas, Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network, the National Circus Festival of Ireland and Spraoi.
