About

Contact:

Moss has been creating circus performances for over a decade using storytelling, clown, dance, prop manipulation, fire, voice and songwriting to draw audiences into her inner world. Moss enjoys themes of mythology, music and emotion and recently, has begun combining two of her special interests, Circus and Neurodivergence. Moss seeks to educate audiences in the best way possible, through fun! Brain varieties should be celebrated and Moss is passionate about making work that helps autistic and other neurodivergent people feel seen, while allowing others to see these differences both clearly and kindly. She fully embraces the role of the artist as activist, making work on a wide range of cultural aspects.

Moss is also a burlesque performer available for cabarets and a seasoned MC & Host.

Squish Stomp Spin
- The Magic of Stim’

This is the tale of a fairy - the silliest, most creative and colourful fairy in all of Ireland. But it isn’t a fairytale! It’s a story about stimming, a neurosparkly look at being yourself. Una is on a quest to stop King Dirch from ruining everything with his dreary demands for “normal”. Along the way, you can join Una and try out different stims to feel through some big emotions and save fairy freedom! ‘Squish Stomp Spin - The Magic of Stim’ was originally produced for Sensoria 2024. This innovative new show by Moss Russell uses circus and spectacle to destigmatise stimming and promote positive representation for neurodivergent individuals through storytelling.

The Dirt On Your Shoe

Enter the lair of the worm.

What happens to those deemed too strange, too unpalatable? Welcome to the neon absurdity of Deirdre’s hermitage.

The Dirt On Your Shoe is a vibrant, multidisciplinary theatre experience blending clowning, circus, and physical comedy to explore the deep and often unspoken realities of loneliness.

This playful yet poignant show delves into the lives of those who don’t quite “fit”—the outsiders, the overlooked, the ones deemed too strange for traditional social spaces.

Audiences step into the whimsical, neon-lit world of a lowly, lonely worm, where absurdity meets raw emotion.
