ELISA GALLO-ROSSO
Elisa Gallo-Rosso is a Cork-based interdisciplinary performing artist originally from Italy. Her practice spans across performance, theatre, and visual arts, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive experiences. She has a background in architecture and clown training, which influences her unique approach to transforming everyday objects and situations into playful and absurd theatrical events. Elisa is also an accomplished set designer, prop maker, puppeteer, and parade director.

In addition to her performances, Elisa offers her expertise as a set designer, prop maker, and puppeteer. She has extensive experience in creating visuals and puppets for various productions, including parades and festivals. Her skills and creativity add a unique dimension to any project she's involved in.
"51 Removals" is a comical and moving performance inspired by Elisa's own experience of moving 51 times in her life. The show invites the audience to participate in her latest move to Cork, as boxes and everyday objects come to life. This interactive piece explores themes of memory, departure, and belonging, with a touch of absurdity and clowning.
