I am an award-winning independent radio and podcast producer and media trainer. I have over ten years of experience in making radio, podcasts, sound design, and as a media trainer. I won bronze for radio drama at the Irish Radio Awards 2018 (IMRO) and have been shortlisted for seven European Radio Drama Awards, and for the Headline Mental Health Media Awards 2022.

I have worked in many different areas, teaching digital media and artistic courses to a variety of people, and I am a QQI-accredited trainer. I pride myself on my organisational and communication skills. My work demands strong creative decision-making, vigorous research and strong communication. It involves conveying the vision of the project and ensuring alignment among all parties involved.

I am open to engaging with new disciplines, new people and new ideas.

Current/ recent Projects

- Series Producer of religious and spiritual radio series ‘Witness with Siobhán Garrigan’ for RTÉ Radio 1.
- Arts Educator with Foróige Galway on after-schools course for young people on radio drama, sound effects, foley recording, sound recording for short films, and podcasting. Funded by the National Youth Council of Ireland.
- Award winning independent radio and podcast producer and media trainer. My work has been broadcast on RTE, Newstalk, Resonance FM in the UK and various regional and community stations.

Alexandre Maronna

Alexandre Maronna is a communicator, actor, playwright, and producer with a diverse
background in the performing arts. A PR graduate from Fundação Cásper Líbero in Brazil,
he began his career in theatre, honing his skills as both a theatre-maker and producer.

Drawn to the creative energy of the arts, Alexandre has spent over a decade working in
various roles. His experience ranges from coordinating large-scale events like Elton John's Rocket Man tour to managing marketing campaigns for companies like Electrolux. He has
also produced a variety of theatrical productions and cultural projects, including work
with circus companies

Current/ recent Projects

One of his proudest achievements was his involvement in the development of the Teatro
de Conteiner Munzunza in São Paulo. This unique theatre, built from shipping containers
in a vulnerable community, has become a cultural and social landmark.

Since 2024, Alex joined Promenade in Ireland, where he currently supports the
development and success of Irish artists across circus, street arts, and spectacle.
He is passionate about fostering artistic growth, promoting sustainability, and building
strong connections within the arts community.
